Giving and Serving

Andrew and I are very much aligned on being philanthropic and giving and serving others. I love that it is something we do together often and on our own through organizations we've become involved with. Andrew loved belonging to Los Vaqueros when we were in Vegas and I love my Junior League involvement. We are also very fortunate to work for companies where service is a cornerstone of the organization and love being involved with organizations that give back.

Yesterday, for the second year in a row, we participated in the International Coastal Cleanup of the Puget Sound shoreline through the Ocean Conservancy. We are on-watch here on the Pacific Coast for Tsunami debris from Japan and are also mindful of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch that is a trash vortex of high concentrations of plastics and chemical sludge. Sad, but true.
