Back to Maui for a Thanksgiving Escape

We do love Maui and hadn't been back since we had first found out we were pregnant. We were due. I love our Thanksgiving vacations when it is just the three of us and we can regroup and reconnect as a family while being grateful for what we have. It was a great trip with Scarlett to enjoy the breathtaking views and sandy beaches with her. We had such a great time.

On day one of our vacation, Scarlett and i took a walk around the Marriott property we were staying at to take in the views. Here she is in her little hawaiian tank top:

We took Scarlett to the Maui Acquarium to see the fish and I think she loved it and was in awe. She slept for the first half, but then really became immersed in all of the beautiful fish. It was fun to take photos of these amazing creatures:

One of my favorites ... I love being able to try and see new things through her eyes... truly curious and in awe:

Our hotel had a kids pool and some waterslides that we enjoyed playing in and Andrew loved going down the slide too! We just wish the water had not been so cold!

Scarlett sure does love the water and hanging out with her "dada":

We enjoyed the beautiful sandy beach by our hotel and loved building sandcastles with Scarlett!

These two have an amazing bond ...

Here's Scarlett jumping right in on the action ... showing us the ropes of paddle boarding!

Scarlett learned how to rock back and forth on her own in a rocking chair on this trip ... she giggled and laughed all the way!

In the middle of the week and on the rainiest day, we scored tickets to the Maui Invitational games. We had a blast! It was great to see these teams compete in such a small venue and Scarlett got up-close and personal with the UCLA Bruins mascot! What fun!

On Thanksgiving we enjoyed a traditional feast at the hotel.

After our Thanksgiving dinner, we enjoyed a hilarious Elvis impersonator show. Scarlett slept through half of it and then was serenaded by Elvis!

Aloha Hawaii... You're one of our favorite's and we'll be back! Thanks for the wonderful memories as always!
