Holiday Cheer with Family and Friends

Our holiday season was a good one - we were able to have our annual holiday open house so friends and co-workers could stop by. Andrew was able to take some time off work and the Herrod's came for a visit! We were even able to do a little weekend getaway up to Leavenworth. It's always a time of gratitude and reflection for us. A highlight each year, is the opportunity we have to sponsor a family for Christmas where one of the children is suffering from cancer. Definitely a highlight of our holiday for sure!

 On Christmas, we publicly announced that we have our little one on the way! We are so thrilled to meet this little one. And, as we headed into the new year, we were filled with joy and optimism of the new year ahead - lots of change, but many blessings for sure.

That following weekend, we participated in some Coca-Cola activities at Seattle Center - even having our photo taken with Santa and the Coke Polar Bear!



On Christmas day, we announced that "Santa's not the only one coming to town..." our little one is due July 1st ... it feels like it's right around the corner :) 

At the end of December, my mom, two brothers, and sister-in-law came to visit! We had a lovely little excursion up to the wonderful Sleeping Lady resort where we enjoyed the Christmas lights and holiday spirit.
