Easter Sunday was especially memorable because it was our first with Scarlett! I am so excited about our new traditions with her. She visited the Easter Bunny, and while initially unsure of what we were putting her up to, she eventually cracked a smile. She sure was suspicious though (rightfully so!). Sunday morning we walked down to the park that's by our house that is right on Lake Sammamish - Idylwood Park. We enjoyed Redmond UMC's sunrise service and basked in the glory that we live by a beautiful lake in a wonderful place that is not only beautiful, but it is truly a place that we are making our home. After that, we went home, and Scarlett enjoyed her Easter basket with plastic colored eggs, a new camera toy, a puzzle, and a new outfit from the Easter bunny! After that, we headed to Sacred Heart Catholic Sunday service and Scarlett got to wear her gorgeous new Easter dress, handmade by my sister's mother-in-law who we call, "Grandma Peg." She is an amazing seamstress and we are so grateful for her talents.
