The Doran Family: Nascar Racing Action in Sonoma & Napa Valley

I've never actually been to Napa Valley, but have heard a lot about it as the ultimate wine destination. In June, Andrew was hosting clients at the Nascar race in Sonoma, so I flew down to be with him. I do love Nascar for so many reasons and this race was extra special because of the road course.

My hopes were high for Napa Valley and I must admit that I was a bit let down. I don't really see what all the hype is about. I enjoyed my glass of wine at Silver Oak and saw a few other wineries, but then, by that time I was pretty much bored out of my mind. But, regardless - it was another great weekend getaway to treasure. Our weekends are extra special around here and we really do try to make it high-quality-time because of our hectic work schedules.
