The Doran Family: Winter Staycation

One place that we've been wanting to explore is Leavenworth. It's a couple hours drive away from Bellevue and is a quaint little Bavarian town. So, a few weekends ago we decided to do a little skiing staycation. We drove up to Steven's Pass and had a really nice day skiing on the slopes. Then, we headed to Leavenworth to stay at the Sleeping Lady resort - a fabulous resort cabin "glamping" experience! Amazing - we love love loved it! So, we stayed the night in this little cabin with a loft that could have slept up to 6 people - but, we had it all to ourselves. We ended our evening in a rock spring hot tub surrounded by snow. The next morning we had a yummy breakfast and headed to Leavenworth for some sight seeing, then headed home. It was an awesome weekend and great break from our 80+ hour work weeks that we've been having lately. We cherish our weekends together!
