Doin' the Puyallup - Washington State Fair

This past weekend we ventured down to Puyallup and enjoyed the fair, the rodeo, and a Craig Morgan concert.

We both remarked how clean and well organized the fairgrounds were. My favorite part was the hobby area where people have won ribbons for their collectibles, crafts, and other hobbies!

These flowers were beautiful!

Lots of horses and livestock.

The highlight for me was seeing the collectibles! I absolutely loved the Girl Scout collection, the American Girl collection and the Seattle's Fair collection. Of course, there was also a coke collection on display and in their collection they had a Clemson 1981 coke bottle from the National Championship - which Andrew has on his desk at work!

The Seattle's Fair collection was very impressive:

There were lots of fair rides and it was fun to see the kids' faces and how excited they were!

Our view from the Rodeo stands - our favorite part was the children's riding competition where they bare-back rode little sheep with helmets on - little boys aged 4 - 7 participated in the competition which was just incredible. No Fear!

Then, we ended the night with a concert by Craig Morgan. He has more hit songs than I thought! I was able to sing along to several of them.
