The Doran Family: Mr. Jones and Me -- Down to Portland to Count the Crows

Andrew and I decided to take our new car for a spin and head down to Portland for a little crunchy action. It was a SUNNY day in April, so with the sunroof open we drove down to Portlandia and checked into my second McMenamins adventure at the Crystal Hotel.

Ecclectic to say the least - very House of Blues style. No bathroom, a simple sink. No dresser, just hooks on the wall.

Andrew was especially a fan of the artwork of musicians that have played at the Crystal Ballrooom...

After we checked-in, we headed out to look for some dinner and stumbled on one of my favorites: The Portland City Grill - gorgeous view and yummy northwest cuisine.
