Night of Day 2: Our luck would have it - a dinner cruise!
After a long, long day of walking on Wednesday night (October 5th) we walked down Champs Elysees - (our 5th Avenue or Miracle Mile in Chicago)... lots of fun shops and car dealerships which was unique to me! We walked down toward the Louvre and crossed La Seine, a river that flows through the city, and we found a dinner cruise that was minutes away from departing that happened to have an empty table. So, even though we didn't make reservations, we were able to hop onboard! We sat down next to a couple from the U.S. and had a nice chat with them, then had a lovely 3 course meal and were able to see the Eiffel Tower and miniature Statue of Liberty on the river bank. It was a beautiful night!
