Honeymoon: Thursday, October 6
On this day, we had a lovely little breakfast in Montmarte and enjoyed watching how casual the folks are in the neighborhood: strolling in around 10am for a cup of coffee with their dogs before heading off to work. After breakfast, we took the metro to Musee de Louvre. The Louvre was enormous and crowded. Here are some photos of us in line to enter ... and check out the French military smoking and carrying huge automatic rifles!
Inside the Louvre we hit all the major attractions and saw Venus de Milo, the Egyptian sphynx, the Mona Lisa and Napoleon's apartment!
While we were at the Louvre, we also ate at their cafeteria which was SO cute and reminded us so much of the Wynn in Vegas and that modernistic abundant style:
