Everything was very official leading up to the event especially the airport-like security facilitated by the secret service agents.
Once we entered the ballroom, there weren't any seats, so we had to stand the whole time. Sarah Mclachlan sang some songs and the band, The Killers followed her as part of the intro leading up to Reid, then Obama's speech.
